Terms of Service
Last Updated: 4/20/2026
Welcome to QuEssentials LLC. By accessing our website or using our mobile notary, loan signing, and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
QuEssentials LLC provides mobile notary, loan signing, and related document-signing support services in the State of Georgia. Notarial acts are performed only as authorized by Georgia law and only when the notary is able to complete the act in compliance with applicable legal and ethical requirements. Georgia notaries are authorized to perform notarial acts anywhere within the State of Georgia.
2. Identification Requirements
All signers must appear for the notarial act as required by law and must provide information sufficient for the notary to confirm identity. Identity may be confirmed through the notary’s personal knowledge of the signer or through satisfactory evidence, which QuEssentials LLC may require to include a valid, government-issued photo identification document. If satisfactory identification cannot be established, the notarial act will not be performed. For certain real-estate documents involving a self-filer, Georgia law also requires specific journal entries relating to the signer and identification presented.
3. Refusal of Service
QuEssentials LLC reserves the right to refuse service whenever permitted or required by law, including if:
-
proper identification is not provided or identity cannot be satisfactorily confirmed;
-
the signer appears to be coerced;
-
the signer’s demeanor causes compelling doubts about whether the signer understands the consequences of the transaction;
-
the notary knows or suspects the transaction is illegal, false, or deceptive;
-
the notary is disqualified from acting because of involvement in the document or transaction; or
-
the document appears incomplete or otherwise unsuitable for notarization in the notary’s judgment.
Georgia guidance also states that a notary may and should refuse to witness a signature when questions exist about identity, sanity, or voluntariness.
4. Fees and Payment
Georgia law provides that a notary may charge a fee for notarial services but must disclose the fee in advance, and the authorized fee is $2.00 per notarial act. Any separate travel, convenience, printing, parking, rush, after-hours, wait-time, or other non-notarial service fees charged by QuEssentials LLC will be disclosed to you before the appointment and agreed upon in advance. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been approved beforehand, such as billing through a title company, signing service, or other authorized client.
5. Cancellations, Delays, and No-Shows
We understand that schedules change. We request as much notice as possible for cancellations or rescheduling. If QuEssentials LLC travels to the agreed location and the signer is unavailable, refuses to sign, lacks acceptable identification, or the appointment cannot proceed for reasons outside our control, any previously disclosed travel or other agreed non-notarial service fees may still apply. Excessive delays may result in additional wait-time charges or rescheduling.
6. No Legal Advice; Document Responsibility
QuEssentials LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal opinions through its notary or signing services unless separately licensed to do so. You are solely responsible for the contents, legality, accuracy, completeness, and suitability of your documents, and for obtaining legal advice from a qualified attorney when needed. Our role is limited to performing authorized notarial acts and related administrative services. Georgia notaries also may not claim powers or privileges beyond those granted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuEssentials LLC is not responsible for losses arising from the contents of documents, errors made by the client or third parties, or the client’s failure to obtain appropriate legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice. QuEssentials LLC’s responsibility is limited to the proper performance of the services it actually agrees to provide. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
8. Privacy
Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy. QuEssentials LLC handles personal information in accordance with its posted privacy practices and applicable law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Changes to These Terms
QuEssentials LLC may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
